This Morning and Sports Xtra on Viasat1


From Monday, entertainment TV, Viasat1’s interactive breakfast show – This Morning, returns with hosts Kokui Selormey and Patrice Amegashie in the hot seat, after taking a break for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The duo return with fresh and more content for viewers, which promises to get the show more interactive and exciting.
The first hour of the show brings audience up to speed on current affairs and traffic conditions in town; whereas the second phase is lifestyle and entertainment based. It features a unique theme of the day to create a level of predictability without causing format fatigue.
A resource person is present each day to walk the hosts and viewers through the show. Viewers would once again get interactive via social media (Facebook and Twitter) to ask questions about the topic of the day, which will be addressed by the resource person.
Meanwhile, sports fanatics can now tune in to Viasat1 every Monday to Thursday at 6am, starting this Monday, for all news update from the world of Sports.
One might get to work late but the reward is a scrumptious live buffet of the latest local and foreign sports news permeating the world of sports live on Sports Xtra.
The programme smoothly transitions to Viasat1, carrying with it its armada of sports fans – approximately 48,846 fans (and counting) on Facebook, in addition to millions of viewers across the length and breadth of Ghana and beyond. It has a new look, replete with new segments and fan interactivity like never before.
Joseph Hanson the regular host leads the front-line of this new season of Sports Xtra, bringing on board his celebrated presenting style that effortlessly blends candour with polite humuor to great effect. Sports Xtra - the return, promises to be new, bigger and better.
