Edge Media Group, organisers
of the RLG Accra Nightlife Awards, has announced a new date for the maiden
edition of the event, which had initially been billed for Saturday January
26 at the event haven, Trade Fair.
The
Chief Operations Officer of Edge Media Group, Kelvin Nii Quartey, stated that
the change of date was to make
way for the headline sponsor of the awards, RLG, to play
their current active role in televising the ongoing African Cup of Nations.
The new date is Saturday, February 16. He further stated
that the voting process has therefore been extended
till Thursday February 14.
He maintained that USA rapper
Cassidy is still billed to perform at the black tie, strictly- by-invitation event.
