It was a rock

It was dubbed the mother of all events in the country during the Christmas festivities and it sure didn’t let patrons down.
Last year’s GH Rocks, which came off on 27th December 2012 at the Dome, Accra International Conference Centre, saw the venue filled to capacity with a charged atmosphere where one could tell participants were ready to rock the night and the year to a good end.
The concert saw GH artistes such as the ‘first lady’, Eazzy; boss chick Lousika; EL; D-black; 4X4; Yaa Pono; R2Bees; VIP; Stay Jay; and Kwaw Kesse rock the crowd with their hits.

The concert was opened by the Next Big Thing In GH Hip-hop winner, Strongman, who managed to wow the crowd with his twi hip-hop twisting rap songs; then followed by the first runner-up Tee-Phlow who also did incredibly well.

Davido of Damoduro fame from Nigeria swept ladies off their feet when he revealed his six- pack stomach, and the ladies couldn’t help but scream in excitement as the young artiste dazzled them with back-to-back songs such as Damiduro, Overseas, Ekuro, Carolina amongst other hits.
The crowd went beserk when D-black came on stage with Vera in person whilst performing his Vera hit track. Eazzy, EL, VIP, Kwaw Kesse and R2Bees raised high the flag of GH with their performances. They left the crowd hungry for more stunning performances from them but unfortunately, they had to give way for other artistes to perform.
Mista Silva, Kwamz and Flava as well as Lethal Bizzle all from the United Kingdom were on top of their games and thrilled the crowd with their hit songs. The concert at this point was like one big nonstop night of fun.
Tema based R2Bees held their own on stage
Fuse ODG of Antenna fame stole the night with his azonto dancer from the antenna azonto dance challenge video. His female dancer showed the crowd the azonto dance steps from the antenna video while he performed hit songs from his azonto album.
It was a night of music and fun, and for the crowd who had gathered there to rock GH they really did do just that as they had their own mini dance battles.
